Does the P800 have T9-input? |

Hey!
I will get my phone in just a few days. It will rock...
Some people say that the P800 doesn't have T9-input? Is this true?
I have seen websites where it´s told that it has it, while some people in this forum says that it hasn´t. I guess there are a lot of P800 owners out there, so can you please give me an answer?
Thanx!

Well, that was a very nice reply.
Are you for real or are you just joking? Haha, funny!
You don´t have to answer me, fine???
Why I am confused is because of this:

Yes means "Ja" in swedish
No means "Nej"....

I can understand your frustration, but as pajon82 points out there is still parts of the media out there who gives wrong info. So there is room for misunderstanding out there mate.

@Pajon82, Don`t worry there are 4 ways to input text to send,
1, Oldfashioned multitap = crap
2, handwriting (changes what u write into text) = OK but not ideal
3, tiny qwerty keyboard = i find this as fast as t9,best way for an sms
4, in mms menu you can scribble a message & send it as it is, it turns up as a written message on mms phones, it`s only for realy short stuff but it`s great, you can use different colour pen if you want,

Ok...fine. Then I know!
I haven't got my phone yet, so I haven´t tried the V-keyboard. But if it is like you say, then it would be great!

Ok, tack killar. Hoppas att det kommer något program som kan hjälpa till på traven. Det i t68i var riktigt bra....

T9 for p800 is coming. This will be there via software upgrade to symbian OS or application. however, lo pri. why bother when you have 4 other ways. |

If you will notice in Input Text in Control Panel, Mutlitap is the only option, but there is a button 'Setup' there. It means we can install or setup a new input method with our P800, probably with the new SW upgrade. I hope I am right... |

I really hope they do put it in there, i am so used to it and i think that for the most advanced phone of the century t9 just goes without saying...

In norway we only have swedish and english language in the SW yet. When we don't have our own language in the sw it would be wierd to have norwegian wordbook (t9) in it. So hwen p800 will be out with SW in your own language i think SE will come with some "word complete" program. |
