Globe Duo for Pre-paid Subscribers
Globe Telecom, in a press release on June 4 , 2009 , announced that its Duo service is now available to both post- paid and pre-paid subscribers.
Globe makes it easy and convenient for consumers to get unlimited mobile and landline calls through its breakthrough service DUO – Mobile and Landline in One, with the launch of DUO in Prepaid both in Metro Manila and Cebu.
Fast becoming popular to customers in Metro Manila and Cebu, Globe DUO is now available in Prepaid in Metro Manila starting June 5 and this was introduced in Cebu since May 25.
New Globe prepaid subscribers can get the special DUO prepaid SIM pack at only P45 to enjoy Globe DUO. Experience the ultimate in unlimited mobile and landline calling within Metro Manila and Cebu for five days for just P125 and P350 for 14 days.
Globe makes it very easy for consumers to get on DUO. For Globe prepaid subscribers, purchase the new DUO SIM pack then register via SMS to DUO: text DUO MM 125 or DUO MM 350 and send to 8888. Upon subscription to DUO, the amount (P125 or P350) will be deducted from the prepaid load and the subscriber gets a DUO landline number. Enjoy unlimited calls to any landline as well as DUO- to-DUO mobile calls immediately upon activation of the service.

I don't think this is economical for a pre-paid subscriber like me. This would be a good service for businessmen who always call for their transactions but for a normal tambay like me, just a tip for everyone, services from Sun cellular would make a good deal. They have a wide scope for unlimited calls and texts and they even have combos for those non-heavy texters/callers for cheaper deals.
Look, I am not promoting here or what, I just want you guys to see the best of everything here. Even Smart Telecom has their own unlimited call promo also and that's a price away from other leading Networks. I can even do UBT/FBT from Sun and it's faster than any other cause it uses socket connections. Just a heads up for everyone. Sun Cellular's gonna be launching a gooood promo soon. It's gonna beat all of 'em as I've heard from a lot of forum sites. So better decide now or be fooled by the same shiit other networks are competing.

nice point.nevertheless even if how enticing the services of other telcos and the numerous tricks here for fb/ub/dl, it boils down to the most mportant among the 3 iv mentioned sa prev post which is signal/coverage. as much as i wanted to use sun as an alternative,still to no avail.0 signal sa loob ng bahay namin even if im in downtown tarlac.globe n smart kahit sa banyo,may signal. bottom line is to each his/her own.
