Orange partners Sony Ericsson to advertise volunteer scheme.
Orange has partnered Sony Ericsson and Channel Four for a series of programmes on its community volunteer scheme, RockCorps.
The network today (20 July) launched a television advertising campaign featuring RockCorps volunteers.
The Orange Rockcorps project has opened up 8000 volunteer spaces. In return for four-hours volunteering at 150 special community-based charity projects, 2009’s volunteers will earn tickets to exclusive gigs in their home city.
The ‘Stand Up and Be Counted’ advert, will run throughout July and September to coincide with the Orange RockCorps gigs in Manchester and London.
Orange UK’s brand director, Spencer McHugh, said: ‘The TV campaign celebrates the heroes of Orange RockCorps, volunteers who gave up four hours of their time to help in their local communities. The advert shows how collective achievement can make a real difference.’

I'd probably do it if it was in my home town too.
