Hi all!

I loved my old k800i, and i have a love/hate relationship with my k850i since the last 18 months. Sent it back three times for repairs, and the software is still super shaky.

However, i love the xenon flash of both these phones, and i really want a new phone with a xenon flash that takes good pics also in clubs etc. Have read a lot of scary stories about the C905 though! Are there any other alternatives for me? (SE or other brands)??

I really want a phone with a great camera - i don't care too much about 3g/wifi/walkman features since i already have a iphone 3g for browsing and listening to music!

Any ideas please?

IMHO c905, my brother have N95 8Gb. I have c905 and I think is better, not only better pictures but easyer to use too. Functions easy to choose with buttons only for that, do not need to take like a half of minute to choose something via menys like on nokia

Choose c905

Thanks a lot guys... it seems both of these options are decent, but none is great... More views really appreciated please!

By the way, does the C905 have the really laggy operating system, like the k850i?

You have no idea what people who bought c905 i would never buy a phone with that much bugs ,so i think you best choice would be lg arena its a light catcher with a 3d photo viewer and autofocus digital camera realy good

again - another touchscreen though... drains too much battery, and overkill if i'm only using it for pics and voice?!

C901 IMO. Simple, fast and also produce great photos from what I gather. It also won the TEST Factory award for best imaging experience so that's got to count for something

Thanks for that one - it looks like C901 is exactly what i need!! Great camera, xenon flash, and otherwise quite light and not too many features (which screwed up K850i imho).

Any clues where i can get one in the UK?

Personally I selected the Nokia 6233 because it gives me all that I want (including 2 mp camera) at an even more affordable price point.

Looks like you wont be able to get a C901 for some time in the UK, Carphone warehouse don't have it listed and even se themseleves dont have a release date, it will be the green heart version though.

Wow, a lot of these answers have been terrible. The 6233? Laughable. The N82? It was on top for a while (although Plank would not admit it), and certainly I would take it over the k850 and c902 (because of lack of Xenon on c902), but the c905 and c901 have leapfrogged it and take better pics. And given the questioners criteria (best cam with minimal other stuff) the c901 is the way to go since it has great battery time and lacks the battery drainers of a WiFi and GPS.

On another note, I will do a c905 vs. c901 photo comparison sometime next week.
