C905 now worthless? |

I was one of the early people who got the C905 just before it hit the shops on ebay. I ended up paying over £400 pounds for it and it broke three times. It seems there second hand value is now peanuts not sure if it's due to them being off the shelves at shops but they are going as little as £80 - £120 on ebay now. Silver ones make a little more.
I wonder how they ever justified the extreme price tag when I got my K850i two moths after release I was able to get it for £200. I got a K800i at the time for £150 and it had been out 4 months.
I have been monitoring it in April they were worth £200 or just below so that's a £50 - £100 drop in a few months. So clearly it was never worth the £400 price tag but Phones4U and O2 shops refuse to sell you it sim free. CPW is also expensive sim free.
I don't understand the high price tag. |

I paid £240 for mine and debranded it myself. I guess it pays not to spend too much for it in the 1st place. I definitely wouldn't pay over £300 for it.

Yes at the time the prices were all very high though.
I paid £280 for the W995 and awaiting delivery but already feel that might be over priced. I hope the Samsung Pixon 12 is a fair price and under £300 new.

Do you drive a new car or a used one? A car loses half of its value in 2 years. Why people still buy new cars?
I paid 500 euros for my w995 and 380 pounds for my n95 both as soon as they were available and I don't care. Just enjoy your phones.
P.S. Sorry if I sound like a smart-ass

You'd be surprised how much you can pick up an unwanted upgrade for on ebay if you're on the ball. Thanks to places like esato you can unlock and debrand A2 phones for free.
