K850i - Another application running error |

hi friends out there..
i have a problem with my k850 now.
sometime when i take the camera, it just closes automatically
and a message is displayed like " another application is running close it and start camera again"
but i dont have any application running.
can anybody help me with this please..????  |

Hey there,
Have you installed any third party cam-drivers or did you mod something else?

Its a case of using modded cam driver. Had a similar problem, except that camera used to exit after clicking a pic (and did not save it..). |

yes i hav moded drivers for cam and audio..

yes, had the same problem with 3 cam drivers and have now gone back to the original and not one problem since. |

I had the same problem. But now i dont have with this(see my signature) drive.

Just replace ur cam driver...
I observed Strong v4 & few others dont produce  this error...

today i didn't get that 'another app running error'.
maybe i'll check for one more day.
i changed to cam driver to 'Cybershot Xperience v 7.0' driver. no errors so far... |

Dear that application error doesn't depend whatever is the camdriver. I sometimes got this error even with the original one. All you have to do is a restart whenever u get this annoying error. After restart it won't give u the error immediately.

Bluechip, sorry to mislead you. I was replying larry68, as he has got this error with 3 different cam drives. I think this error is related to the phone's heap memory. Its obvious when you use any application or games, heap memory is getting used. So after that when you start your cam, it will give you this error. It is matter of time that some people get their cam started after they try the cam second time.
What i do is i restart my phone every morning. I think this help me protect from this error.

I didnt have this error with the original driver only the modded ones and since going back to the original driver I've never had a single error message for the camera.
Other problems I encountered with the modded drivers where that I couldnt auto fix or photo dj and some photos that i bluetoothed to my pc where only thumbnails. Mmmm. |

I dont know about the bluetooth issue but i know that photofix and photodj works for the pic less than 1700-1800 kb. And as you know the moded drive has higher buffer size. So these two functions are not available in some drives.

If you still get errors like that I suggest you go back to the original ones or try a better-modified driver. |
