Just when I had given up any hope of any of the SE getting any of their high-end phones to the U.S. carriers... Att announces they are adding c905a and w518a. Release date is Sunday July 19th. No details on whether or not Att will keep WiFi on the c905a. Does anyone know if WiFi is something that can be enabled by unlocking if it was disabled by the carrier? link to article; http://www.att.com/gen/press-[....]&cdvn=news&newsarticleid=26944

Unfortunatley the at&t version is really bad, the box is poor the same box as the W350, there is no headset and no 8gb (or 2gb for some) memory card, smile shutter and other new software feats do not exist either, in the box is a USB, charger, and a bunch of manuals and a CD.

How do you know this info? If you do know so much, I'm curious as to what color/s ATT will be carrying? Also if the WiFi is enabled? Thanks...

I really want to know if Att has disabled WiFi, will unlocking/debranding reactivate the WiFi?

Debranding the phone, will enable all disabled features, i really doubt the wifi chips were removed, therefore it would just be disabled by the ATT firmware.

Expected price is $148 according to this site... If they're correct, they're practically giving it away... I paid $450 and I dont even get to utilize 3g... I wonder if I'll have to get a new one in order to do so.
