just bought serial cable for t68m. tried most of the software available (FMA, phone monitor, XTND) with no luck. FMA just tells me "connection error" and the image editor cannot detect my phone. any ideas anyone.....? have tried reserving the com ports and tried most of the packages. how do i tell if i have hte correct cable?

I have a cheap ($11) third party cable that has a label saying "ERI T39". Initially I had problems getting FMA to work, but then I started it up in debug mode (-debug) and it shows a communcation log which tells you what the problem is, and surprisingly, it worked at first try. Subsequent attempts revealed that its just a matter of trying again and again. So, try again!
