I am now on my second week without my c905! I dropped it in the sink, but thought not to worry, as I had taken out insurance when buying the phone from the carphone warehouse, So i took the phone back, and it was literally still dripping wet! So i was expecting to get a replacement there and then as it was clearly now dead, imagine my surprise when he said they would need to send it off to the workshop to see if they could fix it first! This is a phone that was completly dead and dripping wet!.
That was now 2 weeks ago, and they still haven’t contacted me, i tried ringing them but they say they have no information yet, how can it possibly take 2 weeks for them to look at a phone that is clearly dead and wet through just to confirm it cant be fixed!

They wont give me a replacement until this is done! Really not pleased!!

Anyone else had experiences with them?

Im on O2, and well third C905 too cock up!

They have none in stock as its been withdrawn i think, so they said repair, to my reply no thanks. i want another phone, they said no, i said yes.

They offered me today, 6220, LG Renoir lite or repiar, I said, Sorry unacceptable, and tthem phones you offered are an unacceptable offer.

I told them if they offer me something a little more bang for buck, N96 etc then maybe id be tempted

I do love SE, but Why, are their phones crap now? Build quality is ridiculousley poor.

superleeds27 to be honest. Legally they are only really obliged to repair your handset and not offer you alternatives. However I don't think they will give you anything else than what they have offered.

O2 are legally allowed to offer you another Make/Model if its the fourth time your model has broken.

This is my third, i know for a fact that the C905 will break again, its known, hence o2 withdrawing it!

I personally think that i will get smoething better, i've gone from being offered repair only, to a choice of 3 options... I'll twist them, trust me

I guess I just find it surprising, if the phone just had a minor defect and they wanted to repair it and it had taken this long, I wouldn’t mind so much as i understand they may be waiting on parts etc.
But i really don’t understand why this is taking 2 weeks, i mean it should take no longer than 5mins for an engineer to look at it and confirm it is indeed totally dead (as it was dripping wet), so why do they need to take 2 weeks just to confirm it cannot be fixed!

They're legally allowed to offer you a new one? Legally they could on the first repair? its their Policy to offer a replacement but i cant see them offering you a different phone from the first one but good luck anyway

UPDATE: Rang them again lastnight, they are saying the phone has been marked as beyond repair, and they are just waiting to receive to back now, BUT they are saying all the C905’s are now being recalled in the next few days, including the one they have reserved for me! So if they do not receive my phone back by the time they come to collect all the other models, then i will be without a C905!!
Surely this isn’t fair!? I mean it’s not my fault they are taking so long is it? and surely if they set aside a replacement for a customer then that should be kept for the customer? It feels like I’m being punished due to their ineptness.
They are saying they will offer me a replacement of a similar spec, but i cannot find another handset that does everything i need, plus as with all insurance claims, I think my perception of a similar specced phone with be a lot different to theirs! So i will end up with an inferior phone!

So annoyed!!!
