Read a thread some way back but cant find it now so apologise for going over old ground. It mentioned that bluetooth on the Nokia 7650 and 6310i devices are always activated, this meant you were able send them business cards or notes to annoy them.
How does this work? Do you have to click on discover when in the vicinity of one of these phones.? or discoverable ? The reason I ask is that lunchtime I was standing next to someone holding a brick (7650) so decided to activate the bluetooth. Unfortunately my t68i was unable to find any devices to hook onto. What am I doing wrong??

7650 is activated...but it has an option to hide its identity to others

The bluetooth on nokia n7650 isnt always activated. It has an on and off option found in the connect folder->bluetooth->bluetooth on or off. I just the same as the t68i without the automatic option
