Looking for a reliable camera phone? |

Hey,
I am looking to buy a decent camera phone, i had decided on the SE C905 but because of all the reliability issues and people returning them again and again i think i have to go for another phone.
Can anyone recommend a camera phone with xenon flash and decent battery life that is reliable? (a 3.5mm audio jack would be nice too)
If there aren't any with xenon flash i will accept led if i have to.
Thanks

NOKIA N82 has all that you want.
SAMSUNG Innov8 also realy good, doesnt have a xenon flash though.
NOKIA N86, doesnt have a xenon flash though.
Samsung Pixon or wait for the Pixon12 which has a xenon flash.
SE W995 although its not a Cyber-shot it seems to take good pics and has the C905s cam features.

The C905 has been fatastic for me so far. I recommend it.
W995 doesn't have a xenon flash as well.

Well this is an oldish thread, but just wanted to add that since the K750 I've been happy with the performance of my Camera Phone for snapshots and opportunistic photography. However the resolution, flash and sensor quality of the C905 really make this the first Camera phone I've had where I am happy to go without a dedicated digicam most of the time. The only thing I use my Panasonic for is it's HD video recording and underwater ability.
However I do own a DSLR, which I use when I need more control and quality. But the DSLR wins out over any compact digicam anyway.

When it comes to camera I think nothing beats Sony Ericsson Satio. 12.1 MP Camera with Autofocus, xenon flash, video and video LED flash. I think it goes around $540 at timtechs. A bit pricey but worth every penny if you are after the camera quality.

Depends if you are judging quality of camera by specifications or by results

I'm on the same quest as the OP. I have a W995 but I'm not thrilled with the camera. Had a C901 but it malfunctioned. I think I may try out the Pixon 12. Trying to decide between that, INNOV8 and Renoir, but leaning toward the former. |

Okay, so your telling me if you had two cameras to choose from only, the K800 and the C905, that the K800 would take better photos? I've owned every flagship camera phone offered by SE other than the K850. I've taken over 3000 photos (atleast) with each handset, and I can tell you it's been a steady improvement in quality and specification each step of the way. THe C905 is by far the best so far.

If you're not into W995 then I don't recommend Innov8. I've made a few indoor side by side comparisons with W995 and I find the colours and quality has been pure propaganda.

I would personally go for Pixon 12
