Vodafone is mulling a multibillion-pound swoop for T-Mobile UK, according to a report.

T-Mobile UK's German owner Deutsche Telekom has appointed JPMorgan to advise on how to offload the business, The Financial Times reports. Talk of a Teutonic retreat from the British mobile market intensified last month when T-Mobile UK's poor performance forced its parent company to issue a profits warning.

Heard about this a few weeks back, would be really surprised if it happened.

i don't think it will. Don't think offcom would like Vodafone having too much of the market share. However 3 buying T Mobile? That might be a possibility.

They would most likely merge as one network. To be honest i see 3 buying over t mobile because they already share coverage already.
