Hello. My w595 that i recently won has a rather odd battery problem. I completely unlocked and debranded it and installed lastest firmware. Everything is running well no problems except the battery only reaches 98% even when charged all night. Whats causing this? Help.

Why all your SE phones always have a problem? Are you a jinx to SE ?
What i like about sony ericsson is that it doesn't want to prove anything... it's more like a lifestyle

Not really compared to some people i only have minor problems really. As i said i have had no other problems with it just that problem with the battery which never seems to go to 100%. What ya mean anyway when i had my c510 i only had minor problems with that too. I only got rid of it cos i was sick of poor signal and muffled call quality.

I had a similar thing happen with my P900 and K800 battery but after a few charges it was ok. Charge the phone with it powered off until the display says that it's full. Keep the charger plugged in and power up the phone. The battery indicator will show that the phone is charging. Leave it until the indicator says the battery is full. Check the status screen and see what % the battery is on. If it's still not showing 100 then keep the charges plugged in and power off the phone and let it charge until it says full. Keep repeating this and eventually it should show 100

Its worked battery now 100% cheers for that. Actually its been doing it since i come to Ireland on my break to visit family. I squeeze in the odd post but gotta be careful cos of data charges over here. Im off out in a bit WITH A FULL BATTERY YEAH. Maybe when i was charging it switched on at the same time round where my relatives live signal is pathetic on all networks so it may have been constantly operating at a higher power never reaching 100%. Oh well. Thanks.

My k660 seems to do the same thing ....it doesnt say "fully charged" or indicate anything and even though i charge it more than 3 hours it will say 98% ..whereas my j121 indicate when the charging is done

i thought k660 had a firmware glitch so only the battery level problem

Yeah bit stupid. I noticed on older Sony Ericsson phones it used to say Optimized Charging. New phones just say charging. Is there any difference?
