I Recently got a nackered Black w850i of a freind, it had a cracked screen damaged software and Damaged EROM, I was able to revive the EROM and Firmware using Wotanclient but it turned on to a while flashing screen of death, The GDFS was a K700I, so i Dissasembiled it and found the ribbon was torn and the keypad was damaged a little too, I then decided to strip it completely get a brand new white case of eBay, Got a new ribbon Keypad and got a screen from my mates old water damaged k800i, the motherboard is dead, it wont detect at all even holding 2+5, its totaly dead. but anyway besides that i got the good screen out and all is good. Once i fitted all my phone back togehtor my phone started 1st time and got signal Straight away, it was obvs a sim Free phone  . But i have a wonderer....
My phone sometimes goes Very dim screened and the bottom keys dont light up and then other times they do, is there a light sensor or some kind of timer to turn on the keypad at night only, Because sometimes the bottom keys light and sometimes they dont, the keys work allways though so its not a ribbon problem to the mobo. Can someone tell me please. i have also modded the phones firmware ALOT with XSS+ |
