Best: Lowend SE phones with 950maH battery: one example is the K300 - i lasts for me up to 7 days with few calls, java gaming, and heavy texting. now how do you call that?

Second: my old W800 lasts up to 3 days with pretty heavy browsing, moderate java gaming and texting, no calls.

Not an SE per se ... but still valid.

Ericsson T39m
6.36hrs CONTINUOUS Talk Time on a local 416 area code call in Toronto. This done after 1hr standby from a FULL charge.
Phone died. Powered up again and was able to receive 7 SMS, and send 3 SMS reply's. All this on a phone with Bluetooth ability BT 1.1 and with incredible audio clarity and doing so at 14mm THICK!

I've ONLY come close to this using my Nokia E71 (4.2hrs continuous talk time on 3G).

remember the T39m was a GPRS-ONLY capable phone!!!!

I've used the following phones and never got 4hrs on them:
Z600
Z500 (EDGE phone)
z520
W810i
K790a
K850i

The last 2 had dwindling continuous talk times since the z520.

I hope that the W995 can come close as I'm beginning to consider this. Yes I'm a long time forum member and a former fan of SE phones. I could return with the Satio/Idou. If SE can bump the performance of the Calendar - really improve upon it then I'll return. Man I LOVED that T39m and the W810i was great workhorse! Z520 did the job well - but no multimedia

It has to do with how much you use it ... the battery of the W800i is the best,12days standby but i had to recharg it every day, same with my P1i. i just listen alot to music,go online make some pictures and the battery is gone.
but i must say i never had my phones battery empty.

Prom 1 yes i remember having a T39 on Orange pay as you go lovely phone and battery life was great with the thinnest battery i ever seen. T68 i forgot that one how could i forget that phone was really good. I remember though how awful K700 was. It barely lasted few hours in a day worse than any Samsung or Nokia lol

One thing thats very clear is Sony Ericsson still has the edge over every other manufacturer when it comes to battery performance.
