but the number doesnt continue to DSC10000.jpg on the next pic,
the number reset back to DSC01001.jpg, yep.. last time the first image also have the same number. It didnt start at DSC00000.jpg for my C702.
As the screenshot, u notice that there are two folders in the DCIM (phone card),
100MSDCF - 01001 ~ 09999
101MSDCF - 00001 ~ 09999 (second batch) this folder created automatically by the phone. Wonder why it started at 00001.jpg this time
By the way, i found it troublesome cos i need to separate them in two different folder in my computer. I really dont wanna accidentally replaced them with same name image..
why the hell the number didnt continue up untill DSC99999.jpg?

Not sure why your phone starts with DSC01001 but my W902 starts with DSC00001 and 100MSDCF.
But I know these folders like 100MSDCF and so on can be created and deleted by a Sony Cybershot camera manually.
New images should be auto saved in the new folder by your phone, so it will not get replaced. Or u can simply rename the older folder so u will not get confused. |
