Hi,

I was wondering what peoples experience of CPW was. I shall be buying the New iPhone tomorrow and was wondering if I should buy from O2 direct or CPW. I was only considering CPW as they let you upgarde sooner then )2 and it gives me more places to buy from if stock runs short. I would be greatfull to hear you experiences.

Thanks

Well their customer service and knowledge for me is great i never really had a problem with them. I always shop with them now. Also they have a very good repair service. They generally can offer the customer anything and all their phones are sim free too I would recommend them.

Yeah I never had a problem with CPW either. I used them back in the day when i was first venturing into the mobile phone market & was always happy with the deal i got, always got to haggle some extras too (free car chargers, bluetooth headsets, memory cards etc)

I go network direct over the phone these days, purely because i've learnt of 'retentions' but i'd recommend CPW.

With the iphone being bought at Carphone or O2 i dont know of any difference but O2's repair service is not as good as Carphone though i am again not aware if the iphone at O2 has a dedicated team to deal with problems. I would still say go with Carphone. Only problem i had with Carphone was their insurance. Twice they messed up my bank account by taking the money for the insurance when it was not supposed to come out. Get dates clear if you have their insurance. Cos with me they took first premium within 15 days which is fair enough i knew that. But the next one came out the next week which was wrong should have been one month later. I was skint and went over drawn with no money in the bank. I was not happy. But no saying its going to happen to you. Good luck.

I must say CPW are very very helpful. I have had no problem whatsoever with their customer service, and they respond pretty quick ie: sending settings for my phone etc.

Hope this is helpful
