Evening all.

Got my W995 yesterday after having two C905 that had dodgy sliders. THe 2nd one I got had a very smoooth slider however then ended up with a problem with the lights.

Got my w995 now and the slider doesnt seem as smooth as the c905 it feels stiffer when pushed up slowly and seems to snap into place.

The number 9 key also makes a noticeable click when pressed which non of the other keys on the keypad do.

Are these faults?

I did get it from a shop but I have already been back twice with the C905 and that was faulty, and a complete handset exchange was done as a goodwill gesture.

I was wondering if there was anyone on here that could advise any different.

Yep, it's like that with my unit as well. I hadn't noticed that previously, though. Some buttons just exhibit a more audible click, some -a softer one. No biggie for me.

Oh, and the slider feels awesome here. It has sort of a different sliding style in comparison with the C905 (if you know what I mean), but no worse.

Oh rite so some buttons are clicky some are not... i can live with that. Just hoped they hadnt give me the shop test phone as a gesture of goodwill instead.

The slider feels diff to the c905 much more "rougher" and grindier so to speak whereas the c905 is very smooth.

Is that correct in how yours is?

The sliding mechanism is tighter, if that's what you mean.
