i have the HPM-77 and the CX400 and the sennheisers have much more crystal clear highs and more solid bass as well. in fact, every time i switch back to the HPM-77's, the sound seems kinda muffled after getting used to the CX400's.

Have to agree with Senninha, take the Sennheisers, got my CX300-IIs a few months ago and they are far better, VERY clear, loud, even the bass is so much richer and more natural than what HPM 70 AND 77 give which is just muffled, ive even given away my HPM70s.
Noise Reduction? From outside? Its just as good if not better than the SE headphones. The Sennheisers also come with their own little leather carry case, looks like a lil wallet to keep them in. Overall im VERY happy i got them, they are worth every penny.

I was looking for the same "configuration". The problem is that you have to use the Fast Port adaptor ( which already is long) and then the sennheiser cable which is a normal earphone cable , but you end up having too much wire i think .

EXACTLY the problem i had when using them with my K850i, thats why this whole stupid fastport frustrates me, it can realy mess up the whole experience.

wooow that looks good, thanks ! Did you try that Junz ?

i`ve seen similar "small" adapters selling on internet

but as them are generic, i dont know if im going to get the normal quality from an original set. So maybe i will try it with original components myself

those generic fast port adapters are good, but they don't seem to last long. i've had to buy them on two different occasions....they're cheap, but after a while they don't plug in properly.

Hey guys!!

I recently bought the Sennheiser CX 400 headphones from Amazon.com. I'm not sure whether they are genuine. because one reviewer in ebay uk has mentioned that the genuine ones come with a leather pouch whereas the fake ones come with a normal synthetic pouch. I got a synthetic pouch with mine but i checked some sites like cnet and trustedreviews and they dont mention a leather pouch being included with the package. Also Sound quality of these is a bit better than the HPM-70s..

Somebody please clarify on this.

Regards,
Zulfi

It's pretty obvious that these converters are cheap... Sony Ericsson never released fastport to 3.5mm jack with short wire (or no wire at all)... So what can you expect from cheap hardware?!
