I was gonna go with the N85 but vodafone ofered me a great deal on my second choice, the SE C905... 18mnths, 600mins unlimited texts, unlimited internet for £22pm...
They dont do the N85 anymore, but I could get it from various places for about £26pm...
The cam on the 905 seems great, but the amount I actually use it, the N85 would probably suffice.. The N85 has bigger screen, and on paper, better battery life.. Ive hear C905 is quite poor.. Im used to charging my K800i about once a week!!
I know the N86 is around the corner, but this would be a little pricey I would imagine... The N85 with Sumbian OS would offer more flexibility, and looks more modern than the dated SE gui....
I just cant decide, would like any opinions from owners of either...

First day of the SE, not really liking the UI much.. seems really dated, same interface as my k800i which is at least 3 years old now... hmmm... Other than the 8.1mp camera, doesnt really seem to offer anything to get me excited... |

at least it's not a fingerprint nightmare like the N85
For those who believe no explanation is necessary, For those who don't none will suffice |

That's barely a reason to keep a phone. |

My N85 has just arrived, and I must say, despite wha tother people have said about build quality, it seems fine.. solid, ok, not quite as good as the SE c905... but I cant pick any faults with it...
Plus points at the mo... compairing to C905..
headphone socket
usb sockets
Both of which are in a usable place, not on the side!!!
On charge at the mo, so not playing with it yet...
Audio quality on SE qs good, better than my ipod!!!! but max sound volume was not loud enough, ok in a quiet room.. but would be useless on the street or on transport... cant wait to see what Nokia is like...
Keypad may take a little getting used to though... |
