Hi all
Have recently bought a new T300 and an infrared adaptor for my computer. No problems at all sending ringtones etc. to my phone, but I cannot send pictures from my T300 (taken with Communicam) to the PC.
I go to "send via infrared" and the phone says "sending" and the PC says "receiving" but this goes on forever. I asked at the shop, and they told me that T-Mobile (my network), along with most other UK networks is blocking the sending of IR pics so they can make more money by people sending them via email. Is this true? (Or even technically possible?) They also said that this ban will be lifted at the end of February. Has anyone else heard this?
Any suggestions on how to get round this issue will be greatly appreciated - one of the main reasons I bought the phone was to get a cheap digital camera to email pictures to my friends for free.
Thanks.
