Maybe we should convince laffen to add an iPhone avatar...?

Nah, my avatar will remain the P1. Will always love that phone. So sad for having sold it...if it was now, i wouldn´t do it. One of last good things SE did.

I'm getting my new 3gs white 16gb iphone....well on Mondaˇy/Tuesday..
One question
I had just bought a wall charger(electricity) from Apple(expensive, 26e -apple=expensive) and I would like to make sure I will be able to charge my iphone with it ,too. You know , my iphone is from EEUU and the charger it brings does not work in Spain.
Thanks!

these days, most electronics are compatible with varying voltage so you need not worry

but... did you really need to buy a charger? EU chargers work in EU countries. I only use one EU adaptor wherever I travel in EU (except UK of course!)

I bought it for my ipod touch last week because I do not use the pc everyday and was used to charging like this with my ipod classic.
In Spain, we have the European socket (non UK) /two thingies

yeah, but what is EEUU? I understood this as EU, i.e. European Union which, outside of UK, should have given you a plug that you can use in Spain as they're all the same outside of UK

to put it simply... what country is your iphone coming from?

edit: got it! EEUU is the Spanish for United States of America!

it does look good, if a little slow, but it won't be available until the next (3.1) firmware release next month which provides new API functionality to the camera

edit: here's a few youtube offerings for iphone augmented reality apps

Anyone not using a screen protector? Just wondered if there's any real need for one? I've had one on my 3GS from new but it's fairly scratched was wondering whether to replace it or to go without?

It's not like I keep my iPhone in my pocket with keys or change... It's just a cheap screen protector!

I have already ordered an Incipio Feather skin in magenta colour, and it includes a screen protector too.
