@rikken: Thanks mate. After the demise of UIQ3, I think I'll settle for a feature phone. W995 seems the way to go. If ever I change my phone again, I think I'd go for an Android based phone. Seems to show a lot of promise.

Hello,
I've a W995.
When I want to update it with it's Update Service menu, I get this message:
"Your phone already has the latest software"
But my Current software version is:
1215-7995
R1EA028
090410
What can I do?
Thanks |

Hi Scorpion8108: You first need to change the CDA from your phone, so you can change its customization, in that way, you can change it to a generic firmware, a different region, and update to the latest firmware.
For the CDA change, you will need a Customize_upgrade, generated by Codeclaw's CDA Generator, then, you upload it with A2uploader to your phone, and restart... after said restart, you will be able to run SEUS and update your firmware.
Good luck!

Does anybody know about new FW for this phone? Because R1HA035 has some bugs - mainly freezing animation in standby
Thanks |

I had 036 for a while but after messing with it I ran SEUS and now I only get 035 which hangs and has alot of bugs. What happened to the 036 version?

Hi Guys
Im just upgrading my w995 to the latest firmware, its RIHA0035. But, when i try to restore my back up using pc suite my phone can only connect to pc using MTP mode. Then there is a window pop up saying "cannot install this hardware, no signature was present in the subject".
Is there any way so i can use my PC Suite again?
Already trying to reinstall/install the latest PC Suite but so far not getting any luck.
Thanks |

Repair the phone by doing the update once more. It should fix your problem. If possible delete all files in your blob_fs folder or if you're not sure how to do this, just use another computer to update as the firmware original files downloaded by SEUS might have been corrupted. Good luck and oh, jangan tidur lagi, bagi settle ni dulu
