I put some flash menus into my phone using A2 uploader. All was fine and glittering. But this morning when I received a call, I could hear the other person talk, but he could not hear my voice. Can anyone help me? I have a retail W910i and haven't done any mods except placing the .swf files in the required folder and the .thm files as well. Other than that I haven't done anything. Do I have to flash now? Or a simple reinstalling via the SE Update Service will do? Please guide me. I'm tensed.

I think u've changed your acoustic files... and that is creating the prob. If you havn't then try to upload w910 original acoustic before flashing. If that doznt work either, reflash your phone. And still if you're having prob, then it may be a hardware issue. [addsig]

Many thanks buntoo and tetouan for the replies. But I think I have figured out the problem. I think my microphone has gone kaput! Cause when I go to record sound, whatever I bellow I don't hear it when I play the recording. Only thing I hear is this peculiar sound which I have heard from those olden days modems; "pli-plu-plri-plru" type. Another thing is it when I connect my headset; My mic seems to work. I can hear myself talk on the recording and even calls are smooth. So it must be that my phone's mic has gone kaput. Did I mention that it has started raining in my part of the world (India) and that I got myself slightly wet. Moisture may have caused damage. Will drying help? Will I have to replace it? Anyone got a do yourself guide? Many thanks!

I already told that it might be a hardware issue. Turn your phone off and dry it for some hours in the direct sunlight in a position that LCD is facing downwards. HOpe it will start to work again. If dozn't then contact SE service centre. [addsig]
