hello everyone...
i will be in london for 3 days... from 9th to 11th...
i am very much interested in getting a phone from mobile sales forum here.....
however, i have this problem....
i am staying at a hotel near stansted airport...
and am thinking of having the phone posted there...
as the guy is too far away, and i cant travel that much to hand-pick...
so, is it okay to have the phone posted to a hotel , with my number and everything...
how safe is it???
also, are there any other alternatives to getting the phone??
i live in ireland...

Well yes it is. I work as a Duty Manager in a 4 star hotel and many many guests have parcels delivered to the hotel everyday.

Yes you can any hotel thats a responsible business should be able to deal with a guest delivery. What hotel is it? A hotel can either take delivery for you and deliver it to your room or you can ask reception for them to tell you when it arrives and you can sign for it yourself in reception. I know how it works. We have even had guests parcels go missing total nightmare it was just incompetent staff thats all.

So its a hostel? If there is someone on reception it should be fine for them to take delivery no problem. Or just ask them to come and get you when it comes. |

Ask them if its ok for them to keep it for you or put it in your room. They should be able to dont see why not. Ring them now.

Told you so. If your staying somewhere and your paying them there is no reason for them not to take a simple small delivery for you. Thats good anyway. Where you living in Ireland? Its where me is from
