Just heard Chelsea have bid 73.5Mil for Kaka.

Some sort of capping needs to be put in place for this kind of thing. It's ruining the game.

Football is a business, not a sport

As long as football supporters continue to pay extortionate amounts of money for season tickets, replica kits and other merchandise then the situation will only get worse.

Vote with your wallets. Boycott matches. It would only take a matter of weeks before the major clubs started reassessing their business strategies.

Nice idea but would never catch on in enough numbers.

Compare Man U to Man City. If Man City were to buy Kaka, C.Ronaldo, Torres, Villa, Gerrard etc. they would still be hopeless. Man U are rich but they have been building their team for many years. Chelsea are another hopeless team. Mourinho built a team and with some more time they would have eventually won the CL. Ancelotti will fail, his Milan team is well above Chelsea so he needs time but we all saw what happened to World Cup winner Scolari.

As for Madrid bidding £68M for Kaka, good luck and hope he doesn't hurt himself. Van Nistelrooy has missed the whole season for Madrid but he was cheaper.

On a side note, Milan look to be in financial trouble like many of the other big clubs. It would be good to see some of these clubs go into administration just to keep people like Perez in check. Valencia won the Uefa Cup and Liga not to long ago. They are in the red too.

What a waste, £68M feeds many starving people.
