phone crashed after uploading file |

OK, so I just got a new Sony Ericsson f305 phone. I via uploaded some mp3s and stuff via bluetooth and it was all fine but than I wanted to watch some movies on it. I got this convertor program and after a few tries I managed to get it right I actually watched a small (3 min) 3gpp clip on my phone. Then I converted a 1 hour clip exactly ( I think) the same way and uploaded via bluetooth. Immediately my phone crashed completely and kept on crashing even though I pulled and reinserted the battery. So I removed the memory card (512 mb) where the clip was stored and restarted yet again. This time it worked but no memory card. After a few tries I managed to connect to the phone while it had the card inserted but I could delete the clip via bluetooth "because of unknown reasons" and the bluetooth interface crashed when I tried. So after I tried it a few more times it actually worked (well something happend, not sure what exactly - interestingly it happend after somebody called me - the phone actually let me talk) and the clip was gone along with the problem. It is clear that somehow my memory card got corrupted and crashed the phone everytime I tried to access it. Anyone have any thoughts on this because now I'm a little freaked out about uploading to my memory card and the phone has a puny 10mb inbuild memory. |

I would format the card now using the phone.

You didn't fill your memory space completely? Could be the reason of phone crashing..

the phone won't crash simply because the mem card has no space. Just format the card and give it another go. Should be fine.
