I am sending in my t68i to get the speaker repaired and i was wondering what the latest sw version is so i can ask them to upgrade it to the latest.

r7a is already out in asian countries like the Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore and HK. I was wondering when SE will release it here in the US. I called in earlier and the software they have is r5d. r7a i heard, will enable digital zoom when using MCA-25.

I got 2 mc's upgraded at sony-ericsson north edsa free of charge yesterday. The latest version is r7a013 which comes in two language packs, Chinese (the one with inconsistent font sizes) and Bahasa (the one without wuziqi).
I just wanted the users to know that its free of charge (even non-warranty units) and the employees were as polite as the people at smartnet and semicon sm manila.

Really?i went to se north edsa 2 wks ago and they told me that theyre upgrading units which were bought at their shop. Are u sure that theyll upgrade mine for free eventhough i didnt buy my fone frm then? How long will it take for the upgrade?and will they open the unit or will they just use data cable or something?

Same as upgrading Windows 98 to XP for example (big scale example : ).
It make your phone wark faster, smottrer, with less errors, some clame phone even getting better connection, also some new hradware ilke bloototh equipment work better, and more suported, also for t68 some functions for camera is unable without update, like zoom. |
