Ok let me try my level best to explain the problem...
When i try to turn on the phone, the red light starts blinking... and sometimes the screen turns on and shows a white screen flickering and sometimes messy. And if the screen starts once, the phone doesnt turn off whatever i do until i take off the battery...
Also when i plugin the phone for charging, the screen shows a white screen and it starts flickering.. Again the phone wont turn off until i take off the battery...
Also When i plugin the phone to the charger, the screen starts flickering and shows horizontal lines, sometimes blue.. And then when i remove the charger and turn on the phone, the phone vibrates once and then again the same flickering part with blue lines...
I have tried flashing the MAIN, Filesystem and owncustompack several times... I have also tried restoring the gdfs... All complete successfully, but still i am facing this problem...

Problem is in EROM, must repair with Setool2lite1.11
Select Phone type K790, press Identify button on Setool.
Hold 2 and 5 together instead C button and connect with USB cable.
When hear sound like new USB device remove cable, then reinsert battery and do NOT turn on phone!!!
Use XS++ v3.1
And connect phone, then flash only Main.
After flashing again disconnect USB cable and reinsert battery - now can turn on phone, must work fine as before.

OK i chose unlock / repair and then pressed 2 + 5 and put in the USB cable... This is what got displayed in the output...

No. Just Identify button!
~1,5 year ago: my phone cann't turn on (I try something with Setool), no blinking infrared..., cann't connect to nothing (XS, Setool, FAR).
But I know it's EROM problem and after repair with Setool (click Identify) then flash Main with XS - work fine.

Really!  How can this be? I suspect you didn't have erom fault at all and reflash just cured your problem. The 'identify' function does nothing apart from er... Identify the phone.

i think the poor fellows battery might have been the culprit... sometimes when you have battery less than 30%, tools wont detect a low battery phone..
well, good that he got the help that he needed, got his phone repaired too!!!!
and umm, discovered a new way to use the identify button

This phone is totally crazy! lol
In the beginning, when i tried turning on the phone, the red light near the battery would blink and no display would come up. Sometimes when i plugged it in to the charger, the screen would turn on but would display nothing. While this happening, i cant even turn off my phone. (No sounds, nothing! Its all dead with a white screen)
Then i tried these steps in setools2lite v1.11.
a.Turn off the phone, remove the battery, sim and memory card,
1.run setool2 lite 1.11
2.select phone type from phone type drop-down list, (k790 in my case)
3.press identify
4.reinsurt battery and holding down 2+5 connect the phone
5.press the unlock/repair button
Now when i press unlock/repair button, it asks me to hold the C button and insert the cable though its already inserted and detected when i press 2+5 and insert it in step 4.

Now after doing this, my phone would turn on (would vibrate once after turning on) and display a white screen. After a few seconds, the screen would start flickering and would show some blue lines too.
Some say that i need to repair my EROM. Now how do i do that?? I am totally confused cause its mentioned in some sites that these steps repairs the EROM. But i havent downloaded any EROM file or anything!
I've even used XS++ to flash my MAIN and FS. It all works great. Doesnt display a single error!!

People say that if the EROM is corrupt, the phone wont be detected when you press the 'C' button. Is that true? Cause holding the 'C' button works for me!!
