Burning .mkv files |

I have a video file which is .mkv and I need to burn it to dvd+r does anyone have a clue how to do this?

Have you tried converting it to another format first using a standard program? Once you have done that you should be able to burn it to DVD.

Thanks for the response.
I have just noticed that the video is bluray would converting it to .avi or something upset this?

Oh and if its bluray you'll never get it onto a dvd+r without reducing the quality to somethin quite crap

i have a few mkv bluray movie files. Some can be 4.35gb and others 6.4gb depending on whether they're 720p or 1080p.
Dvd-rs are usually 4.7gb so in theory it would fit on, but it would only be as a data DVD and not a movie so you'd only be able to play it on the computer |
