Hi all,

More problems with my C905 this time it doesn't appear to want to charge. I first thought something was up when I plugged it into my PC yesterday and it identified it as a PictBridge device when it should have been in Phone mode (I didn't even think SE phones HAD PictBridge!). Anyway I finally got it into Mass Storage Mode to charge it up (I didn't have my charger at work).

Left it charging all day, unplugged it only to realise the battery still said 7%! So i put it on my mains charger (Official SE charger) when I got home, left it for about 4 hours and still nothing! So i turned it off, plugged it into the charger and left it overnight. Happened to wake up at 5am this morning to find the message "Charging Error, Stop Charging!"

So I turned the phone on, left it for another 3 hours charging, just checked it now and it says in the status: Charging: 0%

Any suggestions? Battery or phone?

James.

Think I've solved it myself, A colleague at work had an phone with a BST-38 battery, put it in mine and it came up as full so I've ordered a new (official) one off eBay for £5!

Is your phone new or old one?
Because batteries wont have problems up to some few years from the time of purchase.

It's only 6 months old, but the other battery in it seems to work fine!
