Hi!

just got this on my laptop... Really pi**ed off...

Any advice about how to get rid of it is much welcomed...

I was running the McAfee On Demand scan when this hit....

I can see this site offering advice with a 'download' but that adds t my fears!!

here called SPYWARE DOCTOR

OH MY GOD
I had this you have to boot into safe mode with networking, and run ComboFix
It is a pain in the bottom to get rid of

EDIT:
Also run Spybox S&D that'll definitly get rid

Try this too, update it 1st.

http://malwarebytes.org/

Also spyhunter (beware of fake versions), this will not remove anything it finds until you pay for it....but....if it finds a rootkit infection it will reboot your pc to remove it before continuing in demo mode.

both the above have sorted me out a few times and my kids laptops too

You can pyy for malwarebytes and it then gives you realtime protection. Spyhunter is not free. I run malwarebytes every few days (its updated regularly), you will be suprised what gets thru despite a firewall

thanks streetgang,

I will buy malwarebytes when I get home. Maybe it is available frm PC World but I guess it would need updating through the internet anyway!
