Hi
Got the c905 yesterday installed PC suite which put all the drivers on, so I can connect to pc suite and my phone explorer fine.
However now im using my phone explorer I have removed PC suite and asked it not to remove the drivers.
before I could connect to the internet in network connections by right clicking on the modem and clicking connect.
Now I have to put the phone into modem mode, but it connects the laptop to the internet everytime I connect the cable, I only want to connect when I press connect but I only have a USB ETHERNET Emulation coming up in network connections now and not an option to connect to it separatly. It appears as the Ethernet adapter does on my laptop. |

check ur modemn list at the control panel of ur laptop, if those modemn are listed even not connected it must be on the list, if not, reinstall the driver of ur phone,

Ok thanks
They are listed in the device manager but not in the network connections part. So therefore cannot connect unless i go into settings of the phone and change to usb modem.
Didnt have to do that before i uninstalled pc suite.
And where can i get the drivers from without installing pc suite again? |

unfortunately, u still need it the pc suite sw coz u need the modemn driver to work, if u dont want pc suite to install, u can simply go to add and remove hardware wizard of ur control panel and must have a pc suite disk if u want a modemn to be install only.

It does work without the PC suite being installed but not in the same way.
