Shooting quality photos on CyberShot handsets |

I've had my C902 for 7 months now and i'm still seeing a lot of motion blur and all around low picture quality. I've played with different settings and my image quality doesn't seem to get a whole lot better.
I've done some searching and come up with nothing really solid in terms of usage tips.
Curious if anybody has some suggestions regarding how to get the best quality out of this handset. I've seen some great shots, so i know what the thing is capable of... evidently i just don't have the skills. |

Motion blur = hold the camphone still. Are you shooting in low light? Don't shoot hand-held. Keep the phone supported on something or buy a mini tripod.
Low quality = noise? You need plenty of light to get good results with a camphone due to the size of sensor and lens.
If you really want quality photos then buy a real digital camera!

I have a real digital camera. It too is a point and shoot, but naturally i don't bring it everywhere.
Thanks for the lighting suggestions. I've had the most trouble with low light shots... turning out grainy and such.
If i can track down the little mini tripod for this thing then i'll consider that.  |

Do you have "auto focus" on when you take a photo?? You may have diabeled it by mistake |

10123, I do usually have auto-focus on, unless i'm using the macro function.
That said, my macro shots seem to turn out great.
I'll have to spend some time playing with lighting. It's summer time here now, so hopefully the increased outdoor light helps. |
