Help! I cannot connect my k800i with pc. |

I have bought a Sony Ericsson k800i. Everytime i tried to connect it via data cable with my pc i failed. My phone found the pc. But the pc cannot find the mobile. For information, i don't use any software like pc suite to connect. My previously used k510i can easily connect with data cable in 'file transfer' mode. Plz plz help me. |

You must have to install Pc suite inorder to identify your phone by ur pc,u can install the pc suite that provided at time of purchase, ofcourse its slow, u can download latest version from SE website.
But installing pc suite is must. |

Did the problem solved? If not try to do uninstall all the usb drivers and remove pc suite(if installed)and install pc suite again and try to connect. It will connects

Actually, the pc suite is not necessary, but the drivers that are installed together with the pc suite are needed. Once the pc suite is installed, you can find the phone's memory and the m2 memory card as two separate disk drives in the file manager or "My computer" if you choose "data transfer" as connection type in the phone.
An alternative is to send files between the phone and the computer by using Bluetooth. It's not as fast as the cable, but the fact that the connection can be done without the cable has some advantages. |

Sorry for late. Thank you all for suggestions. But i have an old mobile. So i have no pc suite. I can't connect yet. But i've bought a memory card reader. Now i am using it. |
