Please help me choose a phone |

Just like the subject sais, i don't know which mobile to choose. I have a choice between a nokia phone (most probably the 7210) and the t68i. I like sonyericsson a lot, but it has some disappointing things in it - no polyphonic signals, 256-color screen and it's not very new (which means it could be replaced very soon). Nokia, on the other hand, has some cool thing like 4096-colour screen, radio... and it's very new. However, i've been using a nokia phone for 3 years and it would be cool to have something new (i've learned the menu so good that i just can't see it anymore). I'd be grateful if you could give me an advice on which phone to choose.
BTW, is it possible to synchronize the t68i with XP pro? I've only heard about NT4.0 and Win Me...
Thanks

Well... what do you wanna do with your phone?!
I'm waiting for the SE P800. It's pretty darn different from anything that's available right now.

My tips: wait for that swedish thing "NEONEONODOE"...
Or if you are in a hurry: T68i Is way better than the 7210... more memory, cooler, more "adult" design, real MMS (sending anim and sound) bigger community and its not a NOKIA
I have a good feeling about the 7650, even thoug it has many drawbacks...
Anyway: if price is not a problem, the P800 has all the things you could ever dream of...

Yup... ya seem to be the "new and cool phone" type of buyer.
If ya want something mature and working get a T68i.
If ya want a tiny, multimedia thing with the devil (MS WindowsCE.Net 4.1 with a propietary user interface) inside, get the NeoNode N1.
If ya want a great all in one brick, get the P800.

Depends on what you like. I have the t68i and I sorely miss poly ringers and downloadable games..
However if you are into mms. the t68i is for you.
If you overlook downloadable games and poly ringers everything else(except for sms speed) is better on the t68i(IMHO)
And of course. It's not a nokia.
I'd get the 7650 though. It's not too much more expensive and much more fun. |

If i didnŽt already have a T68i iŽd probably take a long look at Nokia 6100 or 6610, they are Žbout the only Nokias today i can stand the look of design-wise. If moneyŽs not an issue iŽd look at Panasonic GD87 (amazing screen and cool features) or maybe the P800 (which really has more features than i will ever need or use)
Guess it all boils down to what you want from your phone.. except make and receive calls |

If it's between the Nokia 7210 and SonyEricsson T68i (only) and you're not considering anything else like the Panasonic GD-87...
The Nokia has a better screen, changable covers, polyphonic ringtones, speakerphone, stereo FM radio and downloadble Java programs (games etc.).
My friends have bought them and are initially pleased, then I show them my T68i and send them MMS with sound recordings that they cannot make from their 7210. I transfer images and ringtones easily with Bluetooth and Infrared with other T68i users. The 7210 cannot do that as it doesn't have Bluetooth and the software prevents them transferring images with infrared - I can send a picture via infrared to a Nokia 7650 but not to a 7210!
I also have PictureID which can flash up a picture of the caller as well as their name against the CallerID. You can't do that with a Nokia 7210 (you can't store as many images to start with).
I also use a BlueSpoon with my T68i.
If this doesn't bother you as it does some of my friends, go for the Nokia as it's a newer phone and looks good. The T68i however, has better fundamentals. The Nokia 7210 has all the glitter.
