Hello to all, i am just asking if someone know how much powerful soldering iron needs to be to burn off some part frome the phone, like it is joystick on k800?
I got one soldering i. which have 40W, but its impossible to burn off something from the phone. Please i need to know this quickly.

u need only 20 watts with good soldering tip and a good soldering lead

How much powerful is does'snt matter. u need soldering rod that is used in repairing television sets.
i.e it should have small soldering diameter.

you need a little small soldering iron because the more intense heat produced by the one shown in the picture could melt other components surrounding it. you also need a thinner soldering lead for that job.

a soldering lead with 60/40 ratio lead, a shiny lead and a soldering paste for cleaning your soldering tip and a cork where to wipe your soldering tip

I'm used to soldering. 40W is a bit powerful for soldering modern electronics.

You will also need a thin and sharp tip to solder correctly.
