HI i own a k800i i would like to debrand it get rid of all the that vodafone vodacom crap, I stay in South Africa I would like to know what firmware do i use to debrand ive tried the european firmware but it disables my operator keys so which firmware do i use |

hi ravi, i too have an k800 vodafone brand fone.
i unbranded it. now i have k810 r8ba firmware on my k800!
first i had k800 r8bf003 firmware.
this disabled the green-red call buttons on my case. do you have similar casing?
to debrand, you have to change firmware. you use XS++, because it is very easy for first time... download main and filesystem
thats it
your green call button becomes internet button
and your red call button becomes task menu shortcuts

unfortunately, it's true.. you lose the green-red buttons if you debrand the K800. I changed the upper part of the keyboard with an "debranded" one

I too have vodafone k800i i flashed it to R8BF003 in also my case it disabled the red-green buttons how to change this? |

you CAN'T keep the red-green buttons without the vodafone firmware!!

Hi I used xs++ used the k810i firmware and then tried the latest k800i firmware, the upgrade worked great but it disables my operator keys so looks like im staying with vodafone firmware then,
