Well, the manual for the P800 says like this:
Use a commercial glass screen cleaner sprayed on a cloth, when you clean the screen!

I tried a screen protector, but it looks pretty stupid...
Now i have it in the bag as much as possible, while i use my T600 as "pocket-phone" I use "fellowes screen cleaning wipe" |

About those screen-protectors... Do they really stick to the screen like a tape? I bought some once, wanted to put it on my Tungsten, but somehow this looked strange to, with all that glue or what it is. Doesn't it harm the screen? |

Hi there...
I recommend, for those really hard to get out marks on your screen, you use pure and solid, 400grain sandpaper!
Not to soft, not to corse, give your screen a good hard rub with this stuff, and you'll never have to worry about the mark again...
After that, to get a really nice shine on the screen, try using some really really strong oven cleaner.. I hear it works wonders with the plastic on the screen!

I use a removable, washable, reusable screen protector. This does not have a sticky (as in glue or glue-like) side. You can wash it with soap and water, dry it, then place it back on top of the screen and voila your P800 is protected.

Screen protectors is a joke. Use the flip and be careful.
To clean the screen - use a microfibre tissue (cost $5 on optics/glasses shop). Breath gently on screen and scrub carefully. This removes the grease completely. Never put alcohol or anything on it. |

You guys can make fun of screen protectors all you want. Terrible, I think we both are using Brando?
Brando rules... it actually improves my screen. Reduces glare, prevents scratches.
If the rest of you would rather just wipe and wipe and eventually have a scratched screen... be my guest.
You can't even tell my P800 has a screen protector, other than the 'paper-feel' and reduced glare. I made the edges slip under the screen frame, so you don't see the edges. |

I used Displex Display Polish all the time for my T68 and plan to use it on my P800 when scratches appear. Displex is a great gel that takes away all scratches very easily. |
