Hello,

I got an iGo charger for my SE, the only problem is that every time i want to charge it I have to rub the cable contacts on my T-Shirt and the contacts of the phone as well. Sometimes I have to repeat that a couple times till it actually starts charging.

Is there any way I could make it work right away?

Thanks, The W

the usual suggestion here is to clean both contacts with some alcohol based cleaner with a soft tip like those ear cleaners you can find

I wrote "I would say SO", not no

Just give it a try, it cannot be worse. If that does not work, try nailpolish remover, although that did not work very long for me.

ya chandu give it a try the eraser miracle, i disagree with the nail polish remover to use coz it leave a stain on the port and its a liquid form may damage ur phone parts, any its ur phone

I'll try the eraser trick. I mostly have problems with my headphone jack.

update. I tried cleaning the port with an eraser, and it seems to work fine now..! Instantly recognizes the headphones just as i plug them in. Haven't field tested it yet, but this is an improvement. I cleaned the contacts with cleaning solvent before but didn't achieve satisfactory results. Thanks for the heads-up.
