K850i font question |

Hey everyone. I am trying to use my own fonts with my K850i. I went to the fonts folder and edited the fonts.xml to look like this:

As you can see I am trying to use a resident evil font I got from Dafont (here - http://www.dafont.com/resident-evil.font)
So after I uploaded the new fonts.xml I deleted the sans serif fonts and put in the Resident Evil Large.ttf. After the I started up the phone and got a problem.
All the fonts are currupt. Like where "vodacom" is supposed to stand, there now stands "daC", missing the "vo" and "om". "Media" is now "ed a". The whole phone is like this.
And the font is not resident evil, it is this small ugly font.
What am I doing wrong?

There is no tutorial I can find. I just did what seemed right. And that is the result I got, so that's why I am asking for help.

OK I made some progress: I uploaded the normal fonts.xml and just renamed the font I wanted to use to sans serif..... . Know it sortof works. The test in the media centre doesn't work and the contacts also.
The "vodacom" logo is cut in half (diagonally). So I think the font is too big.
