Add "GAMES" to K850i Media centre? |

Is it possible to add the games section to the media centre like the c902 has?Like with the Menu.ml or something?

EDIT: Ok don't worry people, apparently you can add the games title but not link it to the games folder, so it will only be blank ):

You should be able to link it using a customize_hook.itm in the same way as you can with the Right_Softkey_Hook =)
Not sure of the name of the hook you'll have to use though, should be easy to find though. |

Yeah I can try that. Can you give me a tutorial link to how hooks work? There will only be one problem, on the c902 it isn't linked to the games folder in file manager, it has it's own menu, like the music section.
But it will still be cool.

There was a hook-generator once, but I never got it to work. You'd have to change the menu I think.

Yeah I know what the menu.ml file is but I don't know what to change. I saw that there is also a mediamenu.ml (something like that) with a few useful values.

I think you are mistaken. You can use Menu.ml to change the Desktop shortcuts and icons only, not Media Center.
Perhaps it could be done with a customize_upgrade.xml but I'm not sure about that. |

HOOK's are used in many places not just on sofkeys, how do you think those SE links appear in places like your picture/video folder's etc...... like I said, investigate 
(media menu hooks, for adding shortcuts etc... to the media menu)

what opens when you click on the games folder in the media centre???? does it open the games folder or does it display all of the java installed in the phone? (entertainment.prdf)
maybe its possible to call by its name (games) like you do with the other other items in the media menu? it could be as simple as adding games to the list using customize_upgrade.xml (search for the xml to repossition the menu items.... I posted it over at se-nse a while back).
But yes looking at the images in the link you just posted, I'd say its possible =)
