Who is giving the best PAYG service, calls, texts etc,etc ???

I suspect O2 but I need a second line on PAYG and it must have Text Delivery Reports, which O2 don't unless you add *0# in front of every message which is a kin pain in the butt.

Vodafone now do Freedom Packs whereby you top up then buy one of 3 packs. 10 pounds gets you 100 mins 300 texts 15 pounds gets you 200 mins 600 texts or 20 pounds gets you 300 mins unlimited texts. Packs last 30 days and are to any network. Its good value. Other tariffs on Vodafone include Free calls and texts all weekend when you spend 5 pounds during the week. Or text unlimited plus Stop the Clock whereby you pay for only 3 mins of a call to any network and pay nothing for next 57 mins. So Vodafone best value. Also 25 mega bytes browsing per day for 50p.

Its step in the right direction. But if your prepared to spend 20quid a month on payngo .your much better off goin with a sim only contract. I see 3 have just introduced a sim only contract. 15quid gets u 100mins unlimitd texts unlimitd calls to other 3 numbers and unlimitd internet

Worst value pre pay option is Orange expensive it is and its not competitive compared to others. O2 do great options like free texts and calls depending on top ups but its not as good value now as Vodafone imo. Virgin now do Addict Tariff whereby topping up £20 per month gets you unlimited texts and unlimited internet @ 1 giga byte usage. Not bad. First months is free too 3UK do flat rate 12p to any network and something called stretch whereby you get more mins and texts for your top up. T Mobile and Tesco give you lots of extra credit for topping up. Depends what your after. Enjoy.

I need as many free calls text and internet for as little as possible, be a mini-cab driver I need to phone customers out day and night and I need to have my number sent, so that they will call back when I have to leave a message, as alot of people wont answer an unknown number.

Also want a number I can turn off due to the amount of husbands who phone and ask who I am and why I am calling their wives/girls at 3am

I need text delivery reports for airport pick ups, as I will get a report as soon as the turn on the phone, also need this for the customers who mess you about and put their phones on divert, thus saying they don't want the cab but don't want to pay minimum fare for messing us about.

Free internet is handy for flight times from all the major London based (What a joke Luton) airport arrival times.

I have just upgraded to an 18month £20 600mins, 1000 texts, Unlimited Internet package, so I want as much for as little, with out the need for contract, this is going to be a work phone to supplement my Nokia 5800XM.

EDIT: I need it to be cheap for as long as I use it, not one of these top up £10 get £30 worth for 5 months then back to over priced charges.

@fluke

Asda piggyback on Vodafone and the delivery reports work with no extra charge above the 4p text.

Yeah and on top of all that, ASDA has an international call flat rate of 20p a minute, irrespective if it's mobile or landline numbers.
