Hi there,
this is regarding insertion of a memory stick (M2) into a SE phone.
I am wondering whether i can get some kinda autostart function to work, which triggers the playback of a movie file (.3gp, .mp4) stored on the memory stick.
any chance to use something like an autostart.inf file or so, and if so, which contents?
cheers + thanks in advance |

I think it might have been possible on a P990i as weel but never seen it done on a non-symbian SE.

its a hazzle to insert and reinsert the m2 on your phone i think, file corrupt will be the result coz i have been on that problem when inserting and re-inserting the m2 card,

this insertion thingie is just an option, and would be a smart handy way of getting content to play. of course, you can always access content the traditional way but like you know from traditional DVD / CD autostart procedures this would just be a good way forward.
i read something about .mdl files but i could not bring this into the right context - does that ring a bell with someone? |
