Hi All,
I'm trying to get an idea of the extent to which Vodafone are adding their branding to current Sony Ericsson handsets.
If anyone has experience with any of the following models on Vodafone, please could they post their thoughts?
C510
C902
C905
W595
W705 / W715
W890
Any help would be much appeciated!

That's right - I think I read that it is a 705 with added GPRS only available through Vodafone.
What I'm trying to work out is if anyone feels that the Vodafone branding/software becomes an annoyance on any of these handsets that they provide?

I think you'll find any branding (especially Vodafone) on any mobile annoys a great many people. Voda branding is the most intrusive and literaly strangles phones!

Yeah this was my experience with the K750, so interested to know if the position has changed with newer handsets. |

The Vodafone branding on more recent handsets isn't as bad as it used to be I must say. I've seen a C702, K770i and a few others and their branding is really minimal compared to a few years back. For example they no longer seem to change all the icons in the menu, they only change one or two to Vodafone related stuff.
Still no branding is a hell of a lot better!

Well, I've decided to go with the W715 from Vodafone so fingers crossed they haven't ruined it! |

I know that the K850i isn't on there but mine was vodafone branded and it totally destroys the phone. Everything was Vodafone, the browser, the menu, the text editor, the whole look! It was even the cause of all the restarts I got.
I debranded it and I am much happier now! |

Same here with my W910. I debranded it and it's perfect now.
The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand... Mediar's Site |

Yeah when i debranded my c510 which had horrible Orange branding it was much faster afterwards. I did too notice the c702 not branded on Vodafone. Wonder why not that handset.
Phone?? What phone?? |
