With the advent of the Internet, the situation has changed so that instead of powerful media moguls spreading *****, pretty much anybody can do it. After all, if the story is good enough, the mainstream media will report it, no matter how transparently retarded it is.

9500(inside) and 9300(both inside and out) looked much better than E90. it deserves being called ugly imo.

Pretty fair article IMO. There's a place for "innovative" design, but those are all fails really. Meanwhile the E90 didn't innovate enough to make it's feature list usable, and the SE contingent there is just the typical shoddiness that's becoming synonymous with the brand.

Trying not to sound fanboyish here but I don't see how the SE W350i is ugly. If you've seen one in real life, surely you'll all agree it's a great looking phone...?

I guess it's more in the lame than ugly category. They're criticising the build quality rather than the look on that one, I think.

Funny but stupid article. I agree on some things, but making a vertu phone the uglyest phone ever because it has a out-of-the box design? Hello, that's the whole idea behind Vertu :S

Ugly is in the eye of the beholder, but that Vertu phone is certainly ugly in my book, and the fact that it costs so much (but would physically repulse so many people) makes it pretty lame too.

That list is pure garbage.
E90 is an incredibly cool looking phone, I mean i really does look extremely 'imposing'.
W350 while nothing special, is absolutely not ugly.
Sereneta is also very very cool.

I think they are mistaking 'impractical' with ugly. Most phones there are impractical, but very few ugly.

I must say that I've always liked the look of the Samsung P300! Yes, it looks like an early 80's pocket calculator but that's the whole point: It was different, a bit unusual and very distinctive. I don't know what they were like to use on a regular basis, though!

Lol, the fact that the nasty T-Mobile G1 or HTC Dream isnt there makes that list bull***t ,NOKIA E90? Please, i get to use one often and its a fantastic device, great looking, very well built and comfortable to use, if you wear EXTREMELY tight jeans THEN it may not be that nice in pocket for us normal people it will be just fine,if not then i suggest getting a gym membership and eating a burger . The W350 is ugly especialy in that Orange.
I certainly agree with the Samsung P300! A mate of mine had it for like 4months at the end of 2006, and since we were still in highschool then he was able to text in some classes, although the Afrikaans teacher quickly figured out it was a phone by the way he handled it, and the fact that you dont need a calculator in a language class i totaly hated it, and as soon his upgrade came i made him get a W850 when that was still new, he's got a N82 now, another phone i made him get.
The ROKR E1 was like a beefed up E398, cant blame MOTO for re-releasing it after its success and "coolness" which it brought with its dual loudspeakers that used to light up and the vibrate feature in the Music player which made the phone vibe with the song's bass. Cant comment on the other phones, but the above i mentioned i got to use a lot, had totaly forgotten about that wacky P300 which had a successor, forgot its name though.

Lol, I don't have a problem with how those phones look, some I've never seen before. They are not ugly, just different, lol.

And sorry guys, i've got to disagree, the w350 is far from ugly. That's one pretty petite great looking cute phone

The e90 on the other hand is the type of phone that should never be closed, it looks better when it's flipped open. But I still think it doesn't deserve to be in this list...

The W350 certainly wasn't ugly but then they were lamenting how flimsy it was and I have to admit it was flimsy. One of my workmates over Xmas had one and the flip had broken off his also - without the flip it looks cheap and nasty.
The crappy screen doesn't help much either, shame because I really liked this phone and often thought it would make a good second phone.

The 7380 was the only L' Amour phone I liked the look of but I'd never buy one...

I can't believe some people think the E90 is good looking!! It wasn't a bad phone at all but pretty it wasn't. Big, bulky and downright ugly describe the phone. Like razec pointed out, and I agree, the 9500 still looks good compared to the E90. Yes, the W350 isn't ugly IMO, it is just flimsy and crappy in build quality.

In other words, you can't believe don't share your taste?

Yes, the W350 isn't ugly IMO

I for one can believe that there are people that do not share your taste!
