What is the best firmware or camdriver for the C905 right now to be able to take very good sharp pics? |

The latest firmware R1DA032 has a better different camera driver (2.7) and it takes slightly better pics. The DarkMagician 1.61 driver also improves it a bit. |

Thanks gtr,
Alot of websites that i have been on say that the C905 is as good as a mid range compact camera would you or anyone else agree with this?
I have decided that i will finally be getting a C905 within the next 3-4 weeks. |

Well if the light conditions are good then it can make some fine usable pics but I don't think it can beat digicams on their home turf. Still I'd say it's one of the best 3 cameraphones out there. INNOV8 and Renoir can make some pretty pics too but the C905's ease of use matters more to me. |

Well, Renoir's camera UI is just a matter of preference compared to C905's, they're both easy to use. But for Innov8, I guarantee you'd find yourself struggling for the first time use IMHO, just a personal experience

totally depends!
I wouldn't class the C905 Camera as mid range at all. For a Camera Phone, and you hae to remember that the object of this device is a phone, the picture quality is outstanding.
But if youd rather carry around the phone, plus a digital camera, for a picture that probably wont look any different unless its blown up to HD res, then go ahead.
As for Cam drivers, theres a thread in the software/drivers section, there are currently 3 different drivers out, all modded by different people..
