Anybody read this article yet? http://www.jdpower.com/corpor[....]ase.aspx?ID=2009082&sr=hotnews
Noting that part about SE that says : "Among traditional handsets, LG ranks highest in overall wireless customer satisfaction with a score of 733, performing well across all factors. Sony Ericsson follows with 712."
Beating out Nokia, Samsung and Motorola
I was very much expecting SE's reliabilty issues to have dropped it right down, though it probably scored points in areas such as ease of use.
JDpower tends to be a pretty good source in my opinion. Maybe SE is actually doing better than we realised , what does everyone else make of it? |

LG first? Now that's the real problem here.

I mean that it is hard for me to imagine that LG ranks highest in customer satisfaction. I've always had a hard time picturing it as a reliable brand.

He was actually saying that with LG ranked as first, then these results are hardly credible... |

I think the article is misleading. The focus is the phone itself. Are customers satisfied with the phones they buy. It it not about how companies respond to customer complains.

People less satisfied with SEs and more with LGs? Okay then...
So let me ask. All these people who said this are those ones bitching and moaning about the lack of a 3.MM jack correct? |

Tbh im not suprised Lg are number 1 in satisfaction, i would of expected samsung to be number 1 then LG number 2. Im suprised SE is number 2, it should really be right at the bottom end, because of such poor quality control in recent handsets. |

LG handsets are better overall, fact. They have much better price than se products, you dont here companies complaining about them for either firmware issues or poor quality control, or complaints about service centers. I mean even retailers have lost faith in SE (rightly so) Just look at LG 1st quater results, it speaks for itself.

Personally, I haven't heard many good things about LG from my friends.

the results seem to the inverse of a recent UK report showing LGs and SE to be the least reliable, and moto, nokia, and samsung to be the most reliable:
http://www.reghardware.co.uk/[....]25/handset_reliability_report/
i find it very difficult to believe that SE can conceivably be placed 2nd in terms of user satisfaction, given all the sheer negativity of opinion from SE users compared to other brands.
the JD Power report was carried out only on american users....and that says it all.

LG have progressed hugely in the last two years, since the Viewty to be precise, SE are putting all their hopes on Idou to save what IMO is a dying brand.

Say MWEB, you still have your C905/INNOV8? Or have you given up and held onto a 5800 now? |
