Bio metric readers in mobile phones really interest me i only wish it was in my iphone 3G, just curious to know what phones in the U.K have them?

Do you mean fingerprint scanners?
AFAIK only the Porsche Design P9521 has a fingerprint scanner.
It's about time an app for this appeared, perhaps after the 3.0 firmware release?

Well I don't know what hardware is involved in making a biometric scanner work and whether its really feasible but from a software point of view, running such an app in the background won't happen until enabled by firmware 3.0.

I would love to have such an app on my iPhone if its possible.

I don't think that would be possible on current iPhone hardware.
There was some Pantech model that had fingerprint scanner though...
