"Captain's log, stardate 29/4/2009:"

LOL, prepare for the Nokia 5800 Star Trek Edition...

Trekkies using S60 rejoice!

"HSDPA speed, Mr Sulu."

To boldly go where no Nokia has gone before...:

Yeah Trekkies, and while you're in (cyber)space on your S60 device, watch out for those Klingons around Uranus.

LOL, I'd better stop.

It will come preloaded with Trek-related content like a phaser app, which will definitely help fend of people with lightsabre applications.

I'm sad enough to already have that app on my iPhone (it hit the appstore a month or two ago). It's a terrible, pointless app but it does have some nice links to trailers and suchlike.

Until they bring out a phone that's an actual communicator (and I'm not talking about a Nokia Communicator) I won't be choosing any phone on its Star Trek credentials...

Cue Scotty's voice: "The BL-5J battery... it cannae hold its charge much longer, captain!"

Cue Dr MCoy: "Damn it Jim! Why haven't we installed v20.0.0.12 on the S60 Enterprise yet?"

LOL. Any more?

Right out of hell, I tried it!
Random applications seem to have operated in our favor!
In four hours the phone blows up
Live Long and don't die!
This is a mysterious phone to use, and I don't like mysteries. They give me a headache, and I've got a beautiful W995 right now.

Yes my post is so anti! XD

LOL.

Cue Spock: "They seemed to have been spared the agony of your first three firmwares, doctor."

Cue Spock again: "(Multimedia) Computer, compute to the last digit the value of p1i"

Cue Captain James T. Kirk: "Bluetooth me up, Scotty."

Spock: "Fascinating. Captain, it appears to be a primitive communicator of early 21st century Earth origin."

Kirk: "Earth? Spock. That's. Incredible."

Spock: "Indeed. Sensors indicate the device has a non-capacative touchscreen, and no multitouch - how very illogical."

McCoy: "Damnit Spock! Don't you know a popular entry-level smartphone when you see it, you green blooded son of a..."

And it pretty much goes on from there.

Scotty: "On Earth, we have a saying: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."
Chekov: "I know this saying. It was invented in Finland."

Mr. Spock: "I must acknowledge, once and for all, that the purpose of the firmware updates is to prolong a crisis."
